Sustainability is about protecting the environment as well as caring for the physical and economic health of our community. In keeping with Drexel University’s commitment to sustainability, it is important that we grow, cook and consume food responsibly. This will allow us to work towards ensuring that future generations can enjoy fresh and wholesome food.
Chestnut Street Caterers is committed to achieving the highest level of quality sustainable products by partnering with local farms, distributors, and purveyors that meet or exceed our highest level of standards. Currently we are using Free Range, Cage Free, Local Eggs and Chicken. Other products include; Jail Island Salmon, and Hatfield Pork. All these items are Anti-biotic free and locally produced providing the customer with an exceptional dining experience.
